I-UKZN yenze uMsizi Chatbot ukwenza lula uhlelo lwabafundi uma bebhalisa ngobuchwepheshe ngonyaka wezi-2021.
I-Chatbot, eyethulwe ngoNhlolanja, iwuhlelo lwekhompyutha olulingisa inkulumo yomuntu ophilayo ngokunikeza izimpendulo enikezwe zona.
Loluhlelo, oluqanjwe ngegama lesiZulu elithi uMsizi, lwenzelwe ukusiza labo abasebenzisa iwebhusaythi yase-UKZN. Lutholakala ezansi esandleni sokudla kwikhompiyutha kanti iwuphawu oluluhlaza okwesibhakabhaka.
I-Chatbot yenzelwe ukukwazi ukuphendula imibuzo evame ukubuzwa ehlelwe ngale ndlela ngokubhalwa ethi: Undergraduate Student, Postgraduate Student, Applications and Information, Student Finance, Student Funding (Scholarships, Bursaries and NSFAS), Student Residence, ICS Student Computing, International Students ne-Disability Support Unit.
UMsizi Chatbot wenziwe wuphiko Lwezokwazisa Nezokuxhumana lwase-UKZN kanti selwengeze indawo yokuxoxa neNyuvesi eyenza abafundi noma izivakashi ukuthi zixoxe bukhoma nomunye wabasebenzi.
Ephawula ngokwenziwa kwe-Chatbot, uMnu Handsome Nyathikazi osebenza e-ICS uthe: ‘Ithimba lisebenze amahora amaningi lenza imikhakha ehlukene, lifaka imibuzo evame ukubuzwa, lixhuma abasebenzi baseNyuvesi endaweni yokukhuluma bukhoma nokuqeqesha irobhothi.’
‘Ukusebenza ngaphansi kwesimo sabukhoma ngenxa yeCOVI-19 kulethe izinseleo kodwa bekumnandi ukwenza i-Chatbot kanti sibonga umsebenzi omuhle wethimba,’ kusho uNyathikazi.
