Ngemva komsebenzi wakhe oncomekayo wokusebenza nomphakathi, uSolwazi Vannie Naidoo waseSikoleni seZokuphatha, Ezobuchwepheshe NezokuBusa umenywe nguuMqondisi we-CECUE uSolwazi Saad Znad Darwish wase-Kingdom University e-Bahrain ukuthi aphathe iwebhina ebizwa nge-Academic Staff Wellness During COVID-19.
Kwiwebhina uSolwazi Naidoo uthe indaba yempilo yabantu abafundisayo imqoka kakhulu kubaholi baseNyuvesi ngenxa yomphumela we-COVID-19 ezifundisweni emhlabeni jikelele. ‘Abaholi baseNyuvesi kudingeka ukuthi babhukule ukweseka abasebenzi abafundisi ababhekane nezinselelo nezingqinamba ngokomoya ngesikhathi sobhubhane. Ukwenza izinto ngendlela entsha kuphoqe abasebenzi ukuthi bahlalele ovalweni nangokukhathazeka ngenkathi bebona abantu ababathandayo, imindeni yabo, abalingani babo, izitshudeni nabangani babo behamba noma betheleleka.’
Uthe ukuphila ngokwesaba ngenxa ‘yokungazi ukuthi uzogula nini’ noma ‘uzosinda yini obhubhaneni kuholele ekutheni abantu abafundisayo babe nexhala nokukhathazeka okungalawuleki okubadalele izinkinga ezinkulu ngokwempilo. Ezinkingeni nasezintweni ezihluphe abasebenzi kukhona ukukhathala, ixhala, ukushaywa wuvalo, ukuba nenhliziyo encane nezinhlobo ezihlukene zokhwantalala.’
