
Umkhankaso Wabafundi Beziqu Zobudokotela Wokunqanda i-COVID-19

Abafundi abenza izifundo zobudokotela abangamalungu e-South African Medical Students Association (i-SAMSA) beziko lase-UKZN baqale umkhankaso wokunqanda i-COVID-19 ngenkathi kuqala isikhathi sokuvalwa thaqa kukazwelonke.
Kulo mkhankaso kunochungechunge lwezethulo ngezihloko ezehlukene ezihambisana ne-COVID-19. Kuze kube manje izihloko esezethuliwe bezigxile ekusabalaliseni imininingwane eshaya khona; imininingwane eyiyo ngegciwane, ukuqonda indlela yokusebenzisa izifonyo namagilavu; isimo sempilo nesenhlalonhle nenselelo yesibopho i- “I-Care”.
UMengameli we-SAMSA yase-UKZN, uNks Tivana Chellan, uthe: ‘I-COVID-19 Student Action Team yethu isebenze ngokuzikhandla ifundisa abantu, nokukhuthaza isimo esikahle sezempilo nokuthobela imiyalelo yomgonqo. Ngincoma ukuzinikela kakhulu kwalo lifundisa futhi lihlomisa ngamaqhinga abantu emkhankasweni wokulwa nalolu bhubhane.'
Ngikhuthaze bonke omengameli bawo wonke amaziko e-SAMSA ezweni lonke ukuthi babambisane nathi emikhankasweni yethu nokuthi babambisane ezinhlanganweni zabo nasezingeni likazwelonke ukuze siqinisekise ukuthi bonke abantu baseNingizimu Afrika bayakwazi ukuthola imininingwane.’
Isigaba sokuqala somkhankaso sincike ekuchitheni izinkoleloze ngegciwane ngokwenza izinkulumo zezigcawu zokuxhumana ezinemininingwane elula neyiqiniso ethinta ngokuphelele ukuqondakala, ukusabalala nokugwemeka kwe-COVID-19. Kufakwe nesigaba sokuqinisa ukusebenza kwamasosha omzimba ngezindlela ezilula, ezongayo.
Isigaba sesibili sithathwe njengodaba olujulile noluphuthumayo obeludinga ukuxazululwa kanti belugxile embuzweni othi “ngubani okudingeka afake isifonyo?”. ‘Sikholwa wukuthi umsebenzi wobuqhawe nezenzo ezincomekayo zokuzidela, ukuzinikela, ubuntu nobuholi zidinga ukunconywa. Ngalezi zikhathi zobunzima kubalulekile ukuthi sibambisane njengabasebenzi bezempilo ukuqinisekisa ukuthi izinkoleloze ziyaphikiswa njengoba zisabisa abantu. Njengabafundi beziqu zobudokotela, nisendaweni emqoka yokuguqula imiphakathi yakini ngalo mkhankaso wokusabalalisa ngolwazi omkhulu. Ningawuyeki lo msebenzi omuhle.’
