Sanele Gumede and A Jantjies also of Westville were second in Ballroom level 2 and in Latin American level 2.
N Mahlangu and N Xulu of Edgewood were first in Level 1 Ballroom, and second in Level 1 Latin American.
UKZN dancers are well-known and respected across South Africa in dance sport, thanks to a large extent to the support they get from the UKZN Sports Administration.
The dancers thanked their sponsors, the Sport Union and Sport Admin office, under Mr Ganie.
The dancers are all confident they will do well in the 2015 South African National Achievers and Dance Sport Championship Competition in Kimberly from 10-12 December.
