
Sport Science Student Receives Scholarship
‘I feel very honoured and privileged to have the opportunity to study further in a field I am so passionate about,’ said Ms Sange Matebese, recipient of a UKZN Prestige Sports Scholarship.
‘I feel very blessed to have been awarded this scholarship. I received the Malegapuru W Makgoba Scholarship in the second-year of my BPharm degree (2017) and did not think that I would be fortunate enough to receive another scholarship, two years later, in my final-year,’ said Bachelor of Pharmacy student, Ms Azra H Paruk, after receiving the Townley Williams Scholarship.
‘I am extremely happy, honoured and privileged to receive this prestigious award in recognition of my efforts,’ said Bachelor of Pharmacy student, Ms Amina Jhazbhay, on hearing that she had received the Lawrence and Constance Robinson Scholarship.
First-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) students at UKZN’s Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine, Mr Mohamed Saib and Miss Courtney Vlassides are thrilled to be recipients of the prestigious College Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship amounting to R50 000.
