The African League of Associations for Rheumatology (AFLAR) has bestowed its highest honour, the AFLAR Master Award, on renowned South African rheumatologist, UKZN Emeritus Professor Girish Mody, in recognition of his extraordinary lifetime contributions to the field of rheumatology across Africa.
